The somehow comforting cycle of school has re-asserted itself in our household. My son is in his final year at Wood Gormley elementary school here in town, and so everything is “the last” – during the week we went to “his last” Open House to meet his classmates’ parents, many of whom we already know, and hear the teacher set out his “last” year’s schedule. Very compelling stuff – a lot of it I’d like to learn myself!
