Santa Fe Mortgage Rates at a Glance

From Anasazi Mortgage in Santa Fe…

Conforming rates are remaining steadily at 4.875%, but with some upward pressure with this afternoon’s trading activities.  Stock and bond investors, for the most part, seem to have concluded the bottom of the recession has been marked.  Genworth, a mortgage insurance company, has also acknowledged less economic stress/declines in values, and has subsequently removed ALL but five states from the stressed list (NM is not included in the five remainder “stressed” states).

Things are looking up – we’re not out of the economic woods yet, but a clearing is in sight.  Call us with questions and scenarios.
